Football has been played in our club since 1950. Our men's team goes on goal-hunting in the mid-Saxony class. In addition, there is a play community in the men's area with the FSV Elsdorf, which is active in a small field league. In addition, there is a leisure team, which we affectionately call our ‘craftsman’s team’. Since 2018 there is a cooperation agreement with our neighboring club, the SV Rotation Göritzhain. For the future, we are striving for cooperation in the form of play communities in the junior sector in all age groups with the Göritzhainern. For us, the focus is on the further development of our players. In addition, we are very much in favour of our trainers continuing their training and obtaining licenses. The association supports our trainers in this, of course.

Our old gentlemen, who still regularly play friendly matches, are also very upbeat. Sometimes well-known names in the stadium pass by Rochlitzer Straße. In 2014, our oldies were allowed to compete in front of over 3500 spectators against the traditional team of Borussia Dortmund. They also played against Chemnitzer FC. In the future, we would like to continue to attract such clubs to us from time to time and offer further events of this kind. For our youth kickers, there is also the opportunity at regular intervals to pursue their passion away from the everyday training routine, such as at football holiday camps or even the placing of badges. Of course, the girls are also cordially invited to go on goal hunting with us.
