As part of a ceremony and a reception in the Saxon State Parliament, our Vice-President was honoured for his voluntary commitment on Saturday, 02.12.2023.

The prizes were awarded to people who have made outstanding contributions to society. For example, they take care of refugees, look after libraries, are involved in civil protection or are involved in associations, such as Andreas Rosin. Since 16.08.2018 he has been Vice President of our association. His main tasks include the acquisition of sponsors, public relations and the promotion of the cohesion of our community. Through his voluntary work – together with his colleagues on the Board of Management – numerous major projects have been successfully completed in recent years. He knows how to convey it especially with different problems and is always solution-oriented.

“I am very happy for Andreas. He has earned this award very well, through his tireless commitment he has made himself very well deserved in recent years. Without him, some ideas would never have been put into practice. Thanks to his calm and goal-oriented actions, he is the perfect representative of our board in public relations", said President Tommy Haeder.

Following the tribute, President of the State Parliament Dr. Matthias Rößler and Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping spoke with the guests during a reception and thanked them personally for their diverse civic commitment.
