Team ‘Take You I Have It Safe’ celebrates tournament victory at the 3rd edition. Volleyball club tournament – new section Volleyball starts from 04/12/2023

On 18.11.2023, in the gym on Altenburger Straße, our meanwhile 3. Volleyball club tournament. A total of 6 teams took part in this leisure tournament in two preliminary round groups. Sometimes the numerous spectators saw some very exciting ball changes and contested games. However, the fun was clearly in the foreground for all participants. For example, the ‘football mamis’ had one more year for everyone to train and continue playing as a team. In the past two years still relatively chanceless as the final end of the tournament, they were able to hold against it very well in all games this year and in the end take 5th place. As the tournament winner, and this as the only undefeated team, the team ‘Take it I have it safe’ around team leader Anika Eidam emerged in the end.

We would like to thank all participating teams for the extremely fair and balanced tournament and are already looking forward to the new edition next year. Then finally with its own section of volleyball in the club. This will start its training operation for the first time under the new head of department Sandra Hering from Monday, 04.12.2023. In the future, the training will take place every Monday from 18:30 to 20:30 in the sports hall MFG (in the stadium on Rochlitzer Straße). All interested parties are welcome to come by for the ‘trial training’. We are happy about many new sports enthusiasts in our club family.
