On Saturday, 08.07.2023, the AMB-Football-Kleinfeld-Turnier der Alten Herren took place for the third time in our home stadium on Rochlitzer Straße. A total of 6 teams participated in the tournament. Each was played against each other in the mode, with one game lasting 15 minutes on the small field.
In summer temperatures, the defending champion, the team of the BSC Motor Rochlitz, starts with a close start victory against the eventual tournament winner, the ‘blue’ selection of our SVFL. For the first time there was a representative of the AMB factory team. Other participants were our friends of the FSV Basdorf, the Mühlauer FV 1912 and our selection ‘schwarz’. In many tournament games, some of which were exciting until the end of the second, the spectators saw a total of 42 goals at the end. Top scorers were Philipp Ertelt (FSV Basdorf) and Tommy Haeder (SVFL) with 5 goals each. The tournament victory went to our ‘blue’ selection thanks to a clear victory in the last tournament match against the selection of the AMB works team. Due to a better goal ratio by three goals, they prevailed conceivably narrowly against the previous year's winner of the BSC Motor Rochlitz. In the end, the players of the FSV Basdorf ended up in third place in the table, who came through the tournament without defeat and also placed the best goalkeeper with Florian Mielert. Moritz Bauer was awarded the best player by the AMB works team.

After the tournament, the evening continued comfortably with dance music. The president of the BSC Motor Rochlitz opened the dance floor. Together with our friends of the FSV Basdorf, the mutual friendship between the two clubs was further cultivated.
