On Sunday, 04.09.2022 a real football treat took place in our home stadium on Rochlitzer Straße. For the first time, we as a club have acted as the organizer of a performance comparison. In addition to two teams from FC Erzgebirge Aue, we were also able to welcome a team from SV Barkas Frankenberg, BSG Chemie Leipzig, JFV Neuseenland and VfL Hall 96 in Lunzenau. The U13 teams played on 2 parallel small fields in a total of 15 games á 17 minutes playing time each against everyone. In total, the approximately 150 spectators were able to cheer on 64 goals, some of them extremely worth seeing. In the end, it was very exciting among the 3 first-placed teams. Only the goal ratio decided the respective placements due to the equal points. The team white of FC Erzgebirge Aue was able to prevail victoriously. The team purple of violets finished second in front of the team of the JFV Neuseenland from Leipzig. All three teams had scored 11 points in the tournament. On the other ranks, VfL Hall 96 finished the entertaining junior tournament in front of BSG Chemie Leipzig and SV Barkas Frankenberg.

We would like to say a big thank you to all our volunteers at this point, without these such events would not be possible.

Due to the extremely positive response of all participating teams, we will be holding another tournament in Lunzenau on Sunday, 20.11.2022. In addition to FC Erzgebirge Aue, the teams of SpVgg Bayreuth, JFV Neuseenland, Hallesche FC and FC Carl Zeiss Jena have already made a binding commitment here.
