In the meantime, as every citizen may have learned from the press, prices on the recovered paper market have collapsed. As a result, waste paper collections have become less attractive for clubs and can become a loss-making business. We have, however, with our Sponsor DB Recycling found a customer who still pays us a small fee for pure paper such as magazines and newspapers. However, the prerequisite is that the paper does not include cardboard, foils, etc..

The proceeds from the paper collections will be used, among other things, to finance our EUR 1.1 million new building for the multifunctional building on the stadium grounds on Rochlitzer Straße. For this, our association has to raise a total of almost 223,000 euros in own resources. That's why we still need your help. So far, almost 500 euros have been collected through the campaign.

So, continue to collect paper for our association.
