Soon it will be Christmas!

Until then, we will carry out numerous highlights. So we want to sing Christmas carols together on 23.12.2023 for the now traditional club Christmas singing. The club Christmas party on 09.12.2023 is in preparation, we are looking forward to singer Enrique Thum. Together we barbecue again ‘for a good cause’ at Kaufland Burgstädt. Our annual general meeting on 27.10.2023 is scheduled. Many tournaments for EVERYONE (e.g. volleyball and table tennis) are planned.

With the appearance of this article, we have in September with our 5. THANK YOU to our supporters and were the 2nd time organizer of the circuit championships in cross-country racing.

For the first time, we cordially invite everyone to the Oktober-Vereinsfest on 07.10.2023.

TERMINAL REMEMBER!

From 3 p.m. our Lunzenauer brass musicians will play with coffee and cake. Afterwards we look forward to all small and large children to participate in the children's disco as well as the torch and lantern parade. In the evening it says at pretzels in dirndl and leather pants: Let's go to the dance! By the way: The men in dirndl and the women in leather pants. How to say typically Saxon: ‘This is going to be fun!’ A free drink awaits all those who follow this call.

So what do we have on our own side so far?

Our annual fan-Turkey trip (only this time to Egypt), a successful spring hike, the new lawn tractor in use, the 1.FC Lok Leipzig and the FC Erzgebirge Aue were guests in Lunzenau, the unthinkable children's and family sports festival, twice international visit from the Czech Republic, the seasonal closing ceremony of the table tennis department, barbecues as part of the Rochsburger Chocolate Festival, the deepening of the friendly relationship with the FSV Basdorf, the completion of construction measures around the multifunctional building, tournaments for the little ones and the elderly. I do not claim fullness here. But it is impressive what we have set up together as a club. THANK YOU, the Board of Directors says to those who are always ready and diligent!

Since we cannot actually name all of them at this point, two are supposed to be mentioned here. Franziska Roscher, she was awarded "Volunteer of the Month" by the KVF-Mittelsachsen! Our club president Tommy Haeder also received the DFB Honorary Award on the weekend of 18-20 August in Dortmund. He also attended the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and 1. FC Cologne. He also met the president of the BVB, Reinhold Lunow. We say WONDERFUL HAPPY to both!

We are proud of what we have achieved! I am proud to be part of it! What a development in our sports club: The infrastructure and the framework conditions are now very good, the appreciation and acceptance as well as the participation in the environment is growing! We aim at 500 club members and 15 departments ambitiously! The sports field in Lunzenau has become the socio-cultural center of our city!

We invite everyone to play sports with us, to preserve what we have created and to celebrate with us.

There where victories are won, podiums are won, goals are scored, trophies are held in the air, there can also be celebrated. We ask the environment for understanding.

Sport is at the heart of everything we do!

We will expand the offers for this. Therefore, THANK YOU to our departmental and training managers. We will pay tribute to their constant readiness for qualification and further training, their unselfish commitment and the professionally competent management of their sports groups with a ‘thank you event’ in November. And here, too, not all can be enumerated by name.

We recently reported via Facebook on the 14th. Summer run in pouring rain and still 70 participants as well as via the training session of our abdominal leg po athletes in the Peniger outdoor pool. Thanks to the team around Vanessa Nagel for the organization, thanks to the team around Celine Veit and Sandra Lucas for the creativity.

Nevertheless, we want to give our darts department a separate place here. Just over a month ago, our Head of Department Dart, Ronny Keller, approached us to give a public review of the Blue Angels season. Unfortunately in the previous year, it went down for the 1. That's why the team has to rise again. They also had their own 2nd team playing in the same league. Defeat the team. Not only that was convincing. Could it be the first to deliver a perfect season: All games have been won! Rise up! In addition, Marcel Schöttle, the winner of the individual ranking in the C-League, came from our ranks. Congratulations! We are happy to report on this sporting success and say thank you to the entire department. Our darters present themselves, as at the children's and family party, in order to carry out advertising on their own behalf and thus contribute to the success. It can be seen ready for use as a folder at major events of our association. We are happy to know this department in our ranks. We are delighted with the sporting success. Of course, we expected the presentation of a trophy.

That it then became several and then one still so big and this could be held triumphantly in the evening sky as part of one of our evening events. Very nice and emotional.

We are very happy to report on our other departments in cooperation with our managers in a row. We are also continuing our series of interviews with the department heads. You will soon be able to read the interview with our head of athletics, Vanessa Nagel, on our homepage.
