On 6 November 2021, the City Championships in Athletics took place in Dresden. As a sports club, we were represented there for the first time with 3 athletes.
Sarah Wein started in the age group W11 in the 50m sprint and in the 800m run. She showed good performances in both disciplines and was even able to improve her time by 2 seconds in the 800m run from the circuit championships. Benny Klauß started in the age group M12 in high jump, long jump and 800m run. In the high jump, he improved his previous best performance by 5cm to 1.30m. In the long jump he even improved by a whole 27cm to 4.48m and also in the 800m run, which he ran here for the first time as a competition, he showed a good performance. In addition, Gina Klauß started in high jump, long jump and 60m sprint. Both in high jump and long jump, she confirmed her previous best performances. Even in the 60m sprint, she showed a good performance despite her injured ankle.
