Full of anticipation and with great expectation, we accepted the announcement that a representative of the Saxon state government would like to visit us in mid-October. On October 19, 2020, the time had come.

Representatives of our board met proudly with the Saxon Minister of State for Regional Development Thomas Schmidt and of course in our living room, our stadium on Rochlitzer Straße.

In his function and with his regional roots as a native Burgstadter, he has noticeably liked this appointment in Lunzenau. Impressed by our great sports facilities and full of respect for the achievements achieved by our sports club, created values and the contribution to the social life of our city, a relaxed conversation could be held.

This was done on an equal footing, with an understanding of our ‘worries and needs’ and, of course, not without talking about the issue of ‘Corona’.

We are grateful not only for the appreciation documented towards us, but also especially for the financial support provided to us.

We were pleased to receive the symbolic cheque and do not take it for granted.

And if someone had told us before:
In the 70's. A year of your association's existence, a minister visits you!

If we had said: That would be nice.
And now he was there: And it was beautiful.
