On 11 June 2022, the U16 national championships took place in Mittweida. Here Hannah Dörn started with a shot, as she repeatedly achieved the qualification standard in her previous competitions. Unfortunately, she could not show her best performance at the national championships, but in the end it was enough for the 7. Place of a total of 10 starters. After this great experience, it is now time to continue training and to consider the next big competition, in which it will certainly be enough for a new best performance.

On 18 June 2022, the next competition for Benny Klauß, Gina Klauß and Hannah Dörn took place in Mülsen. At almost 35°C all 3 showed their skills in several disciplines and so we went home with lots of medals and trophies at the end. Benny Klauß started in long jump, shots, spear and discus. In all 3 throwing disciplines he achieved a new personal best, only in the long jump it was unfortunately not quite enough. Gina Klauß started in high jump, long jump, shots, spear and discus. She also achieved a new personal best in almost all disciplines, only in the shot shot it did not go so well. Hannah Dörn started like Benny Klauß also in long jump, shots, spear and discus. She achieved a new personal best in both the spear and the discus. She also showed her skills in shot-throwing, but unfortunately it wasn't quite enough for a new best performance here. In the long jump she did not want to succeed so well, but this is also not one of her favorite disciplines.

At the end of the warm competition day, each participant was given an ice cream to cool off.
