SV Fortschritt Lunzenau e.V. mourns the loss of its long-standing member and honorary member Peter Wolf (02.01.1944 – †02.01.2026).

Peter Wolf has been a member of our association since 01.05.1981 and has played a decisive role in shaping the club's life for many decades. Particularly in the table tennis department, he was an important component and, together with his colleagues, shaped it sustainably.

Peter Wolf has been awarded several times for his extraordinary commitment and his services to the sport and our club. Among other things, he received the pin of honour of the Landessportbund in bronze (2010) and in silver (2020). In 2010, he was also appointed an honorary member of our association.

After a short, serious illness, Peter Wolf died on 02.01.2026. His death fills us with great sadness and sadness.

We lose with him a committed sports friend, a valued companion and a person whose work was of lasting importance for our club.

We will always keep an honorable memory of him. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family, his loved ones and all those who were close to him.
