Today: Steve Ahnert and Olaf Vogel, Head of the Fan Department interviewed by Andreas Rosin (Vice President)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hi Steve, Olaf Vogel's eyes were already shining and he tells how it all began in 1974:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf: \u201cI was passionate about sports and especially football from the very beginning. So it was only logical to start playing football as a 10-year-old and become a member of the club. I am happy to remember the presentation of the certificate for my 45th birthday. Association membership anniversary. I was a player, a referee and a coach. Later, only coaches, including Steve, for professional reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve goes on to add:<\/strong> \u201cI joined our club at the age of 7, i.e. in 1989, and Olaf was indeed my coach. Somehow we've been together from the beginning. As a result, the two fall into disrepair and would probably still report back then today, Steve would not have said: \u2018You always meet twice in your life!\u2019, which means spending time together in the junior team as well as in the fan section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Interviewer Andreas Rosin: And so we are already with our fan department, which is actually an equal department next to the currently 9 other departments in our club. I myself came to the club as a fan and fan department member. I am happy to remember the \u2018beginning times\u2019 and think of Steve and Olaf as well. Describe the \u2018now\u2019 in our fan squad:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve: \u201cSomehow it started in 2016. Our first one was cheered on as \u2018number 1\u2019. In addition, they were accompanied by more and more fans and that also abroad. The idea of driving together to the away games was born.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf and Steve put on the hat and took responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf: \u201cThis is something special. Look at Andreas. Joined the sports club as a fan, became a member, joined the fan bus from the beginning and is now vice-president\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve adds: \u201cAnd he's still driving today! What we haven't experienced: Bus trips with lost drinks, Turkey trips with waterfall.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf adds: \u2018Snowflakes singing at the Christmas market, The two are visibly proud of this, emphasizing the uniqueness and this unique selling point of our association.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve: \u201cNow everything is as usual, just under coronavirus conditions. It's great that our bus has always been able to work with 20 participants this season!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Interviewer Andreas Rosin: \u2018The question immediately follows: Where do you see the fan section in the future, maybe in 2 years?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve: \u201cThat we inspire and activate even more people and that we can confirm the confidence shown by the Board.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf: \u201cThat our big dream has come true and that our fan bus no longer has to go to G\u00f6ritzhain or Burgst\u00e4dt. We want to go with our 1. Team up!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve: \u201cIt is important to preserve our fan culture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Olaf and Steve are guarantors. Steve: \u201cThe young, new players do not always know what to do with the old fans. We fans don't always have all the current player names ready. Andreas Rosin Dear members of the association, Just a month ago, we reported on our successes in 2020 with our information circular here in the Official Journal, outlined an outlook for the club year 2021 and announced further improvements to our association's work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Already today, we want to follow our words with action and bring to life the promised \u2018interview series\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hi Jens, introduce yourself to our readers and describe your career in our sports club:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018My name is Jens Schindler, I was born in Hartmannsdorf in 1964 and I have been living in Lunzenauer since 1985. I'm sure many of you know me because I was a caretaker at school. I also worked at the local paper mill. Since 1995 I feel like I belong to the sports club, but I have not been a member of the club from the beginning. I am happy to remember my time together with club founder Siegfried Berthold and Dietmar K\u00fchn. This sense of belonging was already conditioned by the association membership of my children at that time and was strengthened in 2010. This was done, among other things, by means of a newspaper article on the topic of table tennis in the SVFL. This was followed by my membership in the club and playing my active table tennis. This was during the period of responsibility of the then head of department, Ronny K\u00fchn. A good four years later, I took over the position of head of department. Today, in addition to being head of department, I am also a trainer and a \u2018girl for everything\u2019 \u2013 and I am happy and happy to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n This means that we are already with your department, which is \u2018still\u2019 at home in the gym on Altenburger Stra\u00dfe, which, due to the coronavirus outbreak, has not yet been able to hold the planned \u2018Tischtennisturnier f\u00fcr allemann\u2019 (table tennis tournament for everyone) and has a club honorary member and original rock in its ranks with Peter Wolf. At the beginning of the 1980s, these three founded the department in the school gymnasium and are all still active today. I would also like to comment on our \u2018home\u2019 in the gym on Altenburger Stra\u00dfe. The \u2018still\u2019 can be seen in relation to the new multifunctional building. As a department, we have very much loved our current venue, 6 records can be placed and played on \u2013 and everyone wants to play at the same time during training. Presenting yourself in the new building is not easy for everyone at the moment. On the sporting part: We do not have any junior concerns, but we are looking forward to every new interested party. We are more than satisfied with the sporting development. Achieved individual and youth championships make us very proud!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Right after the question: Where do you see the table tennis department in the future, maybe in 2 years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018In the first League of Circles. We want to and will do that. Our teams will by no means be basement children in the current occupation. In the field of youth, we want and will continue to build on the successes already achieved. Names such as Max Sitte, Jannes Lange and Pascal Ramm symbolize this. We want to have kept or increased the number of members of about 25 so far, the inclusion of table tennis enthusiastic athletes, including from a migrant background, is and should continue to be a practice. The mix of young and old, from 10 to 80 years, will hopefully remain. But maybe then we will have a bigger share of female players.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The board wants to accompany you on this path, create the necessary framework conditions for further development, say support and, of course, stay in conversation on a regular basis. So Jens, hand on heart: What have you always wanted to tell your board?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \"Oh, yes, my wishes and those of my boys \u2013 albeit with small \"holpries\" \u2013 have all come true. I didn't think it would all go so fast. I am thinking of the purchase of the new table tennis tables. Even today I still see the emotional picture of the appearance of our team in uniform jerseys in Hartmannsdorf before my mind's eye. With such a positive experience, of course, the eyes of a department manager sparkle. The regular meetings of the department heads with the board are okay. So I am very satisfied at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n This form of communication and then also public is also new territory for us. We are happy about this format and are also proud of the idea. So we want to give you the opportunity to answer a question that has not been asked at all:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018I have a question: When can we play in the new multifunctional building? And if so, how many at the same time??? (Jens himself had to laugh here)\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n The interviewer immediately passed this question on to our President Tommy Haeder. Here is his answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \"In principle, we are currently really happy to see that the initial plans are now turning the new multifunctional building into reality with the start of construction. Completion is planned for early summer 2022. With the expansion of the club home, the new covered spectator terrace with sales container, a new seat grandstand, we want to simultaneously further enhance our sports venue stadium on Rochlitzer Stra\u00dfe and make it the central focal point of our club life. However, we in the Executive Board are all aware that we will and want to continue to use the city gyms in the future. After all, the new building with the 180-square-meter sports hall is ultimately intended to solve the capacity problems of the training times, which have recently become increasingly acute. Together with all department heads, we will finally think about which sports groups will train when and where in the summer at the latest. What is ultimately important for us is that all club members find very good conditions and can play happily and hopefully successfully in the SVFL sport. In the next two years, there will be major challenges that we can only tackle together. Go round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The sports club Fortschritt Lunzenau in conversation with its department heads: Hi Carmen, introduce yourself to our readers and describe your career in our sports club:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n My name is Carmen Petrus, I am a native of Lunzenauerin and I like to work for the common good. I am a member of the Free Electoral Community, city councillor of the city of Lunzenau, member of the Heimatverein and now also a member of the Sportverein since this year. Since we were all suffering from the pandemic measures, I wanted to help find a way out of the isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So what's better than escaping out into nature? In nature, we can recharge our batteries, let our thoughts run free, switch off and strengthen our immune system. But we not only strengthen our immune system but also social cohesion when we go hiking together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Last year I took part in a Nordic Walking course from the SVFL and noticed the high social value of the sports club in Lunzenau and the great cohesion in it. Since I have been dealing with the topic of hiking for quite some time, I found we should establish a corresponding department. I joined the sports club and immediately declared myself ready for training as coach C Breitensport\/Wandern. This means that we are already with your department, which is the youngest in our association and yet has already been able to report on initial activities and which knows a partner and supporter at its side with our club member and Lunzenauer hiking trail keeper Bernd K\u00f6hn. Describe the \u2018now\u2019 of your walking squad:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As already mentioned, our hiking group consists of about 15-20 hiking friends. Some are members of the sports club, others are not. But this is not a problem at all, because the entry fee paid by non-members means that they are insured by us and \u2018Welcome\u2019 to get a taste of it. Most recently, for example, we took part with 11 participants in Burgst\u00e4dt on the hiking day of the \u2018Burgst\u00e4dter Wanderverein\u2019, where we hiked 10 km and 15 km respectively. I am very grateful for the support of our really busy hiking trail keeper Bernd K\u00f6hn. The city of Lunzenau is fortunate to have found such a dedicated resident for this task. Before every public hike we run the route together to see if everything is in order or not here or there is still need for action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Right after the question: Where do you see the department of hiking in the future, maybe in 2 years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, what can I say about this, the department is still very young? The young department has yet to mature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But of course I am sure that the department of hiking will be firmly established and even more hiking friends will be added, who appreciate our beautiful surroundings just as much as I do. Future hikes, such as the \u2018Lunzenauer Fr\u00fchlingswand\u2019 in May 2022, which is advertised in the Saxon hiking calendar, will make us even more popular from the outside and even more hikers will want to see our region. Of course, this also has a positive effect on tourism. Our region is so beautiful and rich in history so interesting, the hikes are expandable and have the potential to make Lunzenau even better known. Of course, I have to point out that Lunzenau has a lot of catching up to do with the signposting of the hiking trails. I have a bit of the urge to learn and move, which is why I always enjoy further education. Said-done and now I am in the middle of the Trainer C training and run since June with about 15-20 hiking friends through our beautiful homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
